EAST ORANGE – Paramus Catholic’s Jabrill Peppers will make a decision on the college of his choice.

His formal announcement will air Sunday, May 26, on ESPNU.

“I’m extremely ecstatic,” said Peppers via text message earlier today.

The East Orange native is tabbed by both Rivals and ESPN as the No. 2-ranked high school football recruit overall in the nation in the senior class of 2014.

“I know and feel very confident in the decision I’m going to make,” said Peppers.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound CB/RB has narrowed his list to Notre Dame, Michigan, Stanford, LSU, Penn State, and local Rutgers.

“I’m glad Jabrill is comfortable with the schools he has visited and is able to make his decision,” said Paramus Catholic head football coach Chris Partridge via text message.

Peppers has already taken visits to Ohio State, LSU and Michigan and is set to visit Penn State this Saturday, May 18. He announced via twitter last week that his last college visit will be at the end of May and that he’d make his college decision soon thereafter.

“Now I can focus on my senior year and my team winning a national championship,” said Peppers.

His coach agrees: “He wants to concentrate on his senior year and move forward,” said coach Partidge.
