EDISON, NJ — At “Cooked and Uncorked: Putting Fire to Good Use,” a food and wine festival, held Feb. 26 at Pines Manor in Edison, firefighters from across the region came together for a cook-off. The event supports the New Jersey State Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association and The Burn Center at Saint Barnabas Medical Center.
South Orange Local 40 medaled by making duck confit ravioli, with mandarin orange veloute. The team from Maplewood Local 25 also medaled, showing off their impressive cooking skills.
