Bengals continued to make Bloomfield proud

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield High School’s football team mounted a ferocious comeback against Passaic. Trailing 26-6 with six minutes remaining, the Bengals scored three times culminating with a touchdown pass from Chas Abplanalp to Darrell Dunn with 18 seconds left on the clock. The Bengals emerged with a 28-26 victory.

Boys soccer bested Newark Academy and Technology. 

Rainy weather reduced tennis to a single match losing to Caldwell. First singles player Aira Abalos remains unbeaten on the season.

Girls soccer shows continued improvement playing very competitively in losses to Verona and Millburn.

Girls cross country lost a tight race to Caldwell, and the boy harriers placed two runners in the top five against an outstanding Millburn squad.
