Belleville HS track and field team sets new school records to begin the season

BELLEVILLE, NJ – The Belleville High School track and field team broke two school records to begin the season at the Season Opener Invitational held at River Dell High School on Saturday, March 31.

In the 4×200 relay, Chad Manning, Brandon Sagrista, Omarie Wilmore, and Anthony Bodero ran a new school record of 1:35.7
In the sprint medley, Manning, Wilmore, Bodero, and Marquis Valentin ran a school record 3:57.

Girls’ 4×100 relay: Bernice Banks, Camillah Nigatu, Danielle Sharpe, Alejandra Rodriguez, 54.0.

Girls’ 4×200 relay: Banks, Nigatu, Sharpe, Katrina Mejia, 1:52.

Boys’ 4×200 relay: Sebastian Mezarescu, Matt LaTorre, Wady Then, Marquis Valentin, 1:42.9.

Sprint medley: Mezarescu, LaTorre, Trevon Myrick, Joe Rivera, 4:28.8.
