Glen Ridge HS boys lacrosse team seeks progress

GLEN RIDGE, NJ – The Glen Ridge High School boys lacrosse team hopes to gain more improvement.

Ege Zeybek had three goals and one assist and Ren Debartolomeis also had three goals to lead the Ridgers to their first win of the season with a 13-6 victory over Millburn on March 29 at Millburn. Tyler Strong had two goals and two assists; Brendan Easter had one goal and two assists and Patrick Bronander had a goal and an assist. Grant Conte and Colin Ducey each had a goal. The Ridgers improved to 1-1.

GRHS then fell to undefeated Seton Hall Prep, 14-5, April 4 in West Orange. Debartolomeis had two goals and an assist; and Ben Bronstein and Strong each had a goal and an assist. Bronander added a goal. SHP improved to 4-0.

Bronander and Strong each had two goals in a 7-6 loss to West Morris on April 8 at Watsessing Park. Zeybek had a gal and two assists and Cole Schubert had a goal for the Ridgers, who moved to a 1-3 record. Bronander also collected five ground balls.
