GLEN RIDGE, NJ – The Glen Ridge High School baseball team won its first four games of the season before losing to Belleville.
Will Greenberg went 2-for-3 with two RBI and Tyler Fazekas went 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Ridgers to a 6-5 win over Newark Tech April 10 at Hurrell Field. After Newark Tech scored four runs in the top of the seventh, Glen Ridge answered with three runs in the bottom of the inning to win. Marshall Hendrian went 1-for-3 with a double, walk and an RBI and Aidan Brennan had an RBI. Max Haberman went 1-for-2 with a walk, stolen base, hit by pitch and a run.
The Bucs fell to Belleville, 12-0, April 12 at Hurrell Field to move to a 4-1 record.
