Glen Ridge HS girls lacrosse team wins five straight games

GLEN RIDGE, NJ – The Glen Ridge High School girls lacrosse team defeated Saddle River Day and Verona to extend its winning streak to five games and improve to a 5-1 record.

Gretchen Gilmore had eight goals, two assists, seven ground balls and nine draw controls in the 17-7 win at Saddle River Day April 10. Madison Grady had four goals; Jenny Lisovicz had two goals and two assists and Campbell Moriarty had two goals and one assist. Sarah Looney had five draw controls and six ground balls. Lily Kinley had four saves.

The Ridgers defeated Verona, 17-8, April 13 in Verona, led by Gilmore’s six goals, one assist and 12 draw controls. Claire McMahon had five goals and two assists and Moriarty had three goals. Lisovicz also had two goals and one assist.
