Irvington mayor receives leadership award at heritage celebration

During the ceremony, Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo Jr., center, presented the annual Essex County Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Award to the Irvington Mayor Tony Vauss, left, and the Coretta Scott King Leadership Award to Sarah Jones, government affairs manager with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ, right. Both honorees have made significant contributions to the community and their dedication truly captures the dignity and determination of the King family.
