Public hearing airs proposals for Lion Gate Drive
A site plan for the proposed open space and recreational facility on Lion Gate Drive. The area is in a floodplain. Seven feet of soil on 4.5 acres from the area at the lower left would be removed to create a catch basin for the Third River, at bottom, and the Spring Brook, at left. A soccer field located in the upper right would be raised above the floodplain using soil taken from the catch basin excavation.
