A classic tale at the West Orange Library

WEST ORANGE, NJ — On Monday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m., West Orange Public Library presents a musical adaptation of “The Nutcracker,” performed by Sylvan Winds Quintet featuring narration by Scotty Davis. The library is located at 46 Mt. Pleasant Ave. in West Orange.

Treat yourself and those you love to this seasonal favorite performed by world-class musicians who have performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Meet the characters of E.T.A. Hoffmann’s original story of “The Nutcracker,” as Davis dramatizes the tale to the sounds of Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite,” played by a woodwind quartet.
