MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The Women’s History Month Film Festival comes to 1978 Maplewood Arts Center on Thursday, April 5, at 5 p.m. for the screenings of three films, which combined equal approximately two hours. Admission is free.
“Tale of Four” is inspired by Nina Simone’s song “Four Women”; “Rhoda” is a 75-year-old woman’s look back at her life and the quiet despair lying beneath her normative Jewish family life; and “It’s Criminal” tells a tale of prison and privilege.
The 1978 Arts Center is located at 1978 Springfield Ave., Maplewood. For more information about the film festival, visit www.wim-n.com. For more information about 1978 Arts Center, visit www.1978artscenter.org.
