MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The New Jersey Dance Center will present a child-friendly hourlong performance of “The Nutcracker” ballet to benefit the American Red Cross on Saturday, Dec. 10, at 1 and 3 p.m. at the Burgdorff Center for Performing Arts, 10 Durand Road in Maplewood. This year marks the 27th anniversary of the New Jersey Dance Center production, which was honored in 1996 by the White House and represented on the White House Christmas tree. Guest artists join members of the dance company in this iconic ballet.
Tickets are available for purchases at the New Jersey Dance Center, 202 Maplewood Ave. in Maplewood, on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Fridays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon. For further information, call 973-762-3033.
