CHS student wins Best Fiction Film Award at festival

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Columbia High School film student Jordan Miller won the Best Fiction Film Award for his movie, “You Have The Right To Remain Silent,” on Saturday, Dec. 7, at the fifth annual High School Film Festival hosted by Ramapo College of New Jersey.

Other students who worked on the film included Jordan Young, Sean Boisrond and Brian Watkins; Boisrond and Watkins have since graduated.

At this year’s film festival, 25 talented high school filmmakers were selected to screen their films representing various genres.
