Congregation B’nai Israel has a slew of adult education events planned

MILLBURN, NJ — Congregation B’nai Israel’s Adult Forum will hold the following “lunch and learn” events at the synagogue, located at 160 Millburn Ave. in Millburn, on Thursdays, with lunch beginning at 12:30 p.m. and the program to commence at 1 p.m.

• Sept. 22: “The American Jewish Immigrant Experience – The Goldene Medina”;
• Oct. 6: “Magic in Jewish Life in the Pre-Modern Period”; and
• Oct. 20: a screening of “Eye in the Sky,” a taut and timely British thriller starring Helen Mirren and Alan Rickman.
