WEST ORANGE, NJ — The Downtown West Orange Alliance has a slew of activities planned for this summer, with each program featuring a new section of downtown West Orange every Thursday. Each Thursday event will be free, fun and family-friendly. Check the DWOA website for an updated schedule of events.
Scheduled for Thursdays during the month of July are as follows:
- July 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Eagle Rock section: music by Mickey Barboro accompanying a historical marker dedication led by township historian Joseph Fagan;
- July 14, all day in the Tory Corner section: a sidewalk sale with music in the Schneider Hardware parking lot;
- July 21 at a time to be announced in the St. Mark’s Section: a Lego contest; and
- July 28 at a time to be announced in the Valley section: a zumba party with skinny margaritas.
