WEST ORANGE, NJ — Friends of the West Orange Public Library, a nonprofit, has planned a spring book and plant sale to be held at the West Orange Public Library on Saturday, June 2, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. inside the lower level of the library, 46 Mt. Pleasant Ave., and outside under the lower level building overhang. The sale is intended to raise funds to help preserve, support and strengthen the West Orange Public Library and the high level, quality and diversity of its materials and services.
The Friends’ collection of more than 10,000 books will be available for sale, as well as potted flowers and other plants. In addition to selling books and plants, the West Orange Arts Council will display art inside the library lower level, with some pieces for sale.
