JCHC to hold free Hanukkah concert with Kol Dodi at JCC

WEST ORANGE, NJ — The Jewish Community Housing Corporation of Metropolitan New Jersey will hold a free Hanukkah concert featuring Kol Dodi, the community chorale of Greater MetroWest NJ, on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 2 p.m. at the JCC MetroWest Theater, 760 Northfield Ave. in West Orange. The free one-hour concert, open to the public, is titled, “Light & Lighthearted: Jewish Music to Lift the Spirit.”

Kol Dodi, under the direction of Cantor Riki Lippitz and Valeriya Tuz, performs renditions of Jewish liturgical and popular pieces in Hebrew, English, Yiddish and Ladino; songs are from Israel, the United States, Europe and areas around the world.
