LIVINGSTON, NJ — In his second season opener as musical director and conductor of the Livingston Symphony Orchestra, maestro Anthony LaGruth has chosen a diverse musical program from the vivacious and stately to the diabolical and dramatic with Kabalevsky’s “Overture to Colas Breugnon,” Mozart’s “Haffner Symphony,” Mussorgsky’s “Night on Bald Mountain” and Franck’s “Symphony in D Minor.” Audience members can look forward to hearing these rousing works at the Livingston Symphony Orchestra opening concert on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 7:30 p.m. at Livingston High School, 30 Robert Harp Drive in Livingston.

As always, quality professional level performance, local suburban ambience, free adjacent parking, and wheelchair and audio accessibility make for a most enjoyable of evenings. For tickets and more information, visit the orchestra’s website at www.lsonj.org or call 973-980-1809.
