MAPLEWOOD, NJ — On Saturday, March 25, Maplewood Recreation hosted its 34th annual spring egg hunt at Memorial Park. The weather was chilly, but the energy was high as children of all ages came to the start line by noon to get their grabs in. The lawn was sprinkled with 11,000 eggs and all vanished in under a minute. The senior citizens frequenting the Maplewood Senior Center helped stuff this year’s eggs for the younger generations.
Activities included a petting zoo, flower pot painting and dancing to music from a DJ. There were plenty of snacks for all and a ton of spring excitement.
