Seton Hall Italian Studies Institute presents Sicilian music and poetry event

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — The Charles and Joan Alberto Italian Studies Institute, a part of the College of Arts & Sciences at Seton Hall University, will present “The Sicilian Music and Poetry of Nino Provenzano” on Thursday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m in the Theatre-in-the-Round in the Bishop Dougherty University Center, 400 South Orange Ave., South Orange.

The poetry will be read in English by Emmy Award-winning actor Michael Badalucco from “The Practice,” with translations and an introduction by professor emeritus Gaetano Cipolla of St. John’s University.
