WHIPPANY, NJ — The 18th annual Gaelen Juried Art Show & Sale, sponsored by the Audrey & Norbert Gaelen Endowment, announces a call for entries for this year’s show. Categories for entry are: oil, acrylic or watercolor painting; mixed media; sculpture; drawing or pastels; and photography. The application deadline is Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, and the application form can be found at www.jccmetrowest.org/artgalleries.
The Gaelen Juried Art Show & Sale will open on Sunday, May 21, 2017, and run through Sunday, June 25, 2017, at the Gaelen Gallery West at the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest, Aidekman Campus, 901 Route 10 East, Whippany. A gala opening reception will be held Sunday, May 21, 2017, from 2 to 4 p.m., with awards presented at 2:30 p.m.
Winning entries and other accepted work by winning artists will be exhibited at the Gaelen Gallery East, JCC MetroWest, 760 Northfield Ave. in West Orange during the months of July and August 2017.
Artists must reside in the greater MetroWest area and must pay an entry fee; artists may submit no more than three entries. Submissions are by JPEG images only submitted by email.
