MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The Cucumbers will perform a reunion show at Rent Party on Friday, May 13, with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. at The Woodland, 60 Woodland Road in Maplewood. The Cucumbers go on at 9:45 p.m. Prior to that, Bern and the Brights will go on at 7:45 p.m. and The Thousand Pities at 8:45 p.m.
In celebration of the digital release of recordings from 1983 to 1986, the 1985-era configuration of The Cucumbers are re-forming for one show only, featuring Jon Fried, Deena Shoshkes, John Williams and Yuergen Renner.
A small donation is encouraged, as all proceeds go to fight hunger in the local community.
