Village Apartments to host free Broadway cabaret show

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — The public is invited to “Broadway in South Orange Village” on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m., featuring singer and actor Carla Stickler. Stickler, who starred as Elphaba in “Wicked” on Broadway and on the national tour, has performed around the world; she will be accompanied by Nick Wilders, who was associate conductor of the national tour of “Jersey Boys.”

The event, free of charge, will be held in the new community space at Village Apartments, a senior living community located at 110 Vose Ave. in South Orange. It is the second in a three-part series of cabaret shows hosted by Village Apartments and Congregation Oheb Shalom. Light refreshments will be provided.
