WEST ORANGE, NJ — The award-winning West Orange High School Marching Mountaineers debuted their fall routine at the home opener on Oct. 2, bringing cheers from the crowd.
Featuring the music of Queen, the band opened with “Don’t Stop Me Now” and ended with “We Will Rock You.” They plan to add more material to the routine.
The musicians wore specially designed masks that allowed them to play. Drum Major Sheldon Senek led the band as they performed.
The Mountaineers will perform their routine at the next home game, scheduled for Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. against Livingston.
