WEST ORANGE, NJ — The West Orange Arts Council masquerade party fundraiser, held Oct. 20 at the West Orange Arts Center at 551 Valley Road, drew close to 50 people in support of community arts, including “Vincent Van Gogh and his sunflower,” the “Girl with a Pearl Earring,” two “Frida Kahlos” and a peacock. The night marked the debut of the West Orange Community Coloring Book and the opening of the WOAC Member’s Small Works Show, featuring more than 30 artists. A silent auction and costume contest, entertainment by Tyrone Daniels, and musical performance by Lily Sanchez Ruiz enhanced the evening festivities.

Coming up next at the West Orange Arts Center is the annual holiday boutique on Saturday, Dec. 2, and Sunday, Dec. 3, from noon to 5 p.m. Now until Dec. 17, also at the West Orange Arts Center, visit the WOAC Member’s Small Works Show and the WOAC Gift Shop. The Community Coloring Book can be purchased at the Arts Center or online at www.woarts.org. For more information, email info@woarts.org.
