WOHS to present ‘Our Town’

WEST ORANGE, NJ — The West Orange High School drama department’s fall play will be “Our Town,” the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama that tells the story of the fictional American small town of Grover’s Corners between 1901 and 1913 through the everyday lives of its citizens. First produced and published in 1938, “Our Town” has become an American classic and is Thornton Wilder’s most renowned and frequently performed play.

“Our Town” performances will be held in the West Orange High School auditorium, located on the Pleasant Valley Way side of the campus, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2; Friday, Nov. 3; and Saturday, Nov. 4. Additionally, a special senior citizen performance — free for seniors with no ticket required — will be held Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m.; complimentary refreshments will be served during intermission.

Advance tickets can be purchased until 24 hours before each show at WOHS.BOOKTIX.COM. Tickets can also be purchased at the door the evening of the performance.
