WEST ORANGE, NJ — The West Orange High School Royal Strings Ensemble will perform at Carnegie Hall on Monday, March 5, as part of the Symphonic Series for bands and orchestras.
“We are honored and happy to return to Carnegie Hall again this year after making a very successful debut on that stage in 2014,” West Orange High School orchestra instructor Elena Peres said.
In addition to the performances, participating ensembles will have the opportunity for a private clinic session with a guest faculty member and will receive comments from a panel of acclaimed and nationally-recognized clinicians.
The Royal Strings Ensemble recently performed at the 17th annual Music Faculty Concert and is busily rehearsing for its upcoming performance.
“Our program will include compositions by Bach, Vivaldi and Telemann,” Peres noted.
