WEST ORANGE, NJ — On Saturday, May 8, West Orange students joined Councilman Bill Rutherford in handing out 700 trees. The tree recovery event, which took place at Washington and Gregory elementary schools, was organized by Our Green West Orange to replace the trees lost during Superstorm Sandy.
