NEWARK, NJ — The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force, which includes detectives from the Newark Police Department, is investigating the fatal shooting of Anthony M. McGriff, 34, of Lawrenceville, according to an April 14 press release.
On Monday, April 12, at approximately 4:23 p.m., McGriff, was shot on the 100 block of Prince Street in Newark. He was transported to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:08 p.m.
