NEWARK, NJ — The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force, which includes detectives from the Newark Police Department, is investigating a fatal shooting, according to an Aug. 24 press release from the prosecutor’s office.
On Thursday, Aug. 20, just before midnight, Milan Madison, 28, of Hyattsville, Md., was shot in the area of 69 Highland Ave. in Newark. He was pronounced at the scene at 11:42 p.m.
