IRVINGTON, NJ — The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office is in the early stages of investigating a police pursuit that has resulted in two juveniles sustaining serious injuries.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the Union Township Police Department was involved in a pursuit that began on Monday, July 16, around 2:18 a.m., and ended in a crash Irvington in the area of Lyons and Union avenues.
The investigation is active and ongoing. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
