Activities are ongoing in downtown Bloomfield

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Bloomfield Center Alliance is still presenting Cruise Nights and promoting the Bloomfield Farmers Market every week in the town center. An end of summer block party is also on the schedule.

• Cruise Nights car shows, sponsored by the BCA, will continue on Wednesday nights through August from 6 to 9 p.m. at the corner of Broad Street and Bloomfield Avenue.
Stores along the streetoffer specials, the event has family-friendly entertainment and the season will end on Aug. 31 with a parade of cars.

• Bloomfield Farmers Market, promoted by BCA, offers farm-fresh produce and prepared foods every Thursday through Nov. 3, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Watsessing Park.

• The end of Summer Block Party will feature food, music and family activities. Admission is free. The party will be held Saturday, Aug. 27, from 2 to 8 p.m. on Washington Street.
