WEST ORANGE, NJ — The fifth annual “Bowling for Scholarship Dollars,” held Feb. 3 at Eagle Rock Lanes, raised $4,000 to provide scholarships to graduating West Orange High School seniors.

“The event was a sold-out success,” WOHS Principal Hayden Moore said in a press release.

Moore and the Principal Scholarship Team began the popular event to raise money for Moore’s scholarship, which provides scholarship monies to graduating seniors that have worked hard in school, volunteered and supported the culture at West Orange High School.

“The scholarships contribute to our WOHS students’ post-secondary plans,” Moore said.

Attendees enjoyed a night of bowling and friendship while raising money for a good cause.

“This event is fun-filled evening of food, drinks and laughter. It brings our West Orange community together all for a great cause, and we hope to continue to grow this event each year,” Moore said.
