WEST ORANGE, NJ — Glen Rock Savings Bank celebrated a grand re-opening of its location at 83 Northfield Ave. in West Orange with a host of festivities on Saturday, Aug. 4. Held to showcase a redesign of the branch’s interior to feature a lighter, more open and more efficient space, the event drew customers, business and government leaders with activities, prizes and a special promotional rate. The bank’s Northfield Avenue location was the last of its West Orange branches to receive an upgrade this year.

West Orange Township Council President Susan McCartney attended the ribbon-cutting, celebrating with Glen Rock Savings Bank representatives, including board of directors Chairman Malcolm W. Greenough; President and CEO Fred Viaud; EVP, COO and CFO Andriette Mathews; Assistant VP and Northfield Avenue branch manager Arnold Romero; and former CEO and current board member Henry P. Ingrassia.

The bank offered a $1,000 cash giveaway at the grand re-opening, giving everyone who attended a free tumbler that contained a cash prize – anywhere from $1 to $500. Doroteo Tejada, a West Orange resident, was the grand prize winner. Additionally, the bank gave all attendees a tote bag filled with a variety of fun and useful giveaways.

For those who missed the day’s festivities, the celebration isn’t over: Glen Rock Savings Bank will continue its special promotional CD rate offer. This limited time offer extends to the bank’s other branches as well.

“The warm response to our grand re-opening event tells us our customers truly understand our commitment to them,” Viaud said. “All our renovations and promotions come straight from our desire to offer our valued customers high-quality products and personalized service.”
