MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The Maplewood Fire Department can take a breath of fresher air thanks to the Maplewood Lions Club. This March, the club donated to the Maplewood Fire Department brand new, state-of-the-art hoods, which will provide invaluable protection from the life-threatening fire-based contaminants, such as carcinogens and other toxic exposures, with which the firefighters come into contact. The local club is in its ninth decade of service, marking 92 years of dedication and commitment to its community and worldwide causes. For more information visit www.maplewoodlions.org.
