Man shot in Valley suffers non-life-threatening injuries

WEST ORANGE, NJ — A West Orange man injured in an Aug. 14 shooting in the Valley was transported to University Hospital in Newark with non-life threatening injuries, police said in a press release sent to the Chronicle on Aug. 17.

Officers responded to a complaint of shots fired in the area of Valley Road and Joyce Street on the Orange border just after 1:30 a.m.  on Sunday, Aug. 14.

The 32-year-old victim sustained a gunshot wound to his lower left leg.
