MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Members of the Maplewood Police Union PBA 44/44a — including, from left, Det. Carlos Baez, Sgt. Christopher Black and Patrol Officer Mathew Jones — have been collecting non-perishable foods, clothes, water, baby food, diapers, batteries, flashlights, first aid kits and more to donate to the Hurricane Maria victims in Puerto Rico. Dropoffs can be made at police headquarters and at the Town Hall building. Thus far, more than four pickup truck loads have been sent to Puerto Rico.
