NEWARK, NJ — On Wednesday, March 2, Fateem T. Moses, 35, of Newark, was arrested and charged with the murder of Omar Faines, 31, of Newark.
Faines was fatally shot on Sunday, Feb. 14, on Rose Terrace in Newark. Moses is charged with murder and weapons offenses.
Bail was set at $750,000 by Superior Court Judge John Zunic. Moses is currently being held at the Essex County correctional facility in Newark.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
