NEWARK, NJ — Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose is requesting the public’s assistance in locating the pictured male, Porfirio Santos, 85, of Newark.
Santos weighs approximately 130 lbs., is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and has short gray hair. He was last seen Wednesday, Dec. 14, at St. Michael’s Hospital. He was wearing a black wool cap, gray jacket and blue jeans. Santos suffers from early signs of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
While police are actively searching for Santos, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and returning him to his family.
Ambrose is urging anyone with information about Porfirio Santos to call the Department’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-695-8477 or 1-877-695-4867. All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
