What initially drew you to basketball?

What drew me to basketball was the pace of the game, and it was the sport that I fell in love with and something I really looked forward to doing.

What is your proudest basketball moment?

My proudest basketball moment would be scoring my 1,000th career point, because it was one of the first times I felt all my hard work pay off, and being surrounded by all of my family, friends, coaches and teammates meant so much to me.

Do you have any superstitions relating to the game?

I don’t really believe in superstitions. I just try to go out there and play my best.

What is your favorite subject in school?

My favorite subject is journalism, because I really enjoy writing and keeping up with what’s going around locally and globally.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I’ve always wanted to travel to Hawaii, because it seems like a really fun and tropical place. There is an unlimited amount of activities to do there. My family and I planned a trip there this summer, so I hope I can experience some of those things.

What kind of music do you like?

I like all types of music; I mostly listen to pop and rap. Before home games, we always ran out to “Thunderstruck,” by AC/DC, and it was just a fun song that relaxed all of us.

What is something about you that might surprise people?

I really enjoy watching Marvel movies. It is something that my whole family loves and we really bond over it. I also used a quote from one of the movies as my yearbook quote.

Do you have any sports idols?

I don’t really have any famous sports idols, but my parents are my true idols. They have supported and influenced me since I was a kid. They motivate me to play my best during the game I love and to just cherish every moment I have on the court.

Do you have any pets?

I have a Portuguese water dog named Duke. He’s a really friendly and loving dog.
