SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — Members the South Orange community came together Sunday, Dec. 2, in Spiotta Park to celebrate the first night of Hanukkah by lighting the Hanukkah menorah. Attendees enjoyed hot chocolate, jelly doughnuts and holiday songs. Rabbi Dan Cohen, of Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel in South Orange, spoke about the significance of light to the holiday and to individuals.
