WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange High School’s annual Business Forum, held on Feb. 15, featured local business professionals who discussed their career paths and encouraged students with practical advice. The event was sponsored by the Future Business Leaders of America Club, the New Jersey Future Educators of America Club and WOHS Business Department.
Presenters included: Christian Colon, general manager of Anthony’s Coal-Fired Pizza in Livingston; Stacey Staaterman, a certified professional coach; Tammy Williams, a real estate broker; and William Michael Barbee, an entrepreneur whose first novel, “Clipped Wings, They Do Fly,” has been turned into a feature film.
Students were able to interact and ask questions of the panel members, who offered students pragmatic information as they consider college majors and life choices.
“We are so appreciative to the community for coming out to support our students, and the advice and support they offer is invaluable,” Principal Hayden Moore said.
