WEST ORANGE, NJ — Bryce Millington and Emma Scalora were crowned the 2016 West Orange High School homecoming king and queen during halftime activities in Suriano Stadium on Oct. 14.

Junior Ogoke and Ashley Velasquez were crowned honorary homecoming king and queen.

Halftime activities also included performances by the SEC Champion cheerleaders and the award-winning Marching Mountaineers, who played to an enthusiastic crowd. The West Orange football team did not disappoint in the homecoming game against the Barringer Bears, neatly capturing their second decisive win in a row, 47-14.

Introductions of the homecoming court nominees and their escorts brought supportive cheers from the crowd and applause as Millington and Scalora were named king and queen. Following a flurry of photos, the couple took the traditional lap around the track in the cart as the Marching Band performed.
