WEST ORANGE, NJ — The world languages honor society inductions were held at West Orange High School on May 16 for Chinese, French, Italian and Spanish.

“Our community is already very diverse, but we want our students to succeed in a global market,” Principal Hayden Moore said. “We took a serious and strong stand on world language here at West Orange High School and in our middle schools as well.”

Beginning in September, Chinese, French, Italian and Spanish will be available as full-year courses at Liberty and Roosevelt middle schools in both seventh and eighth grades.

Following the induction of the new members by the current Honor Society officers, graduation cords were distributed to seniors to wear on June 22.
