ECPO to host information session on procedures for officer-involved fatal shootings

WEST ORANGE, NJ — The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office will hold an information session on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. to provide an overview of what happens in Essex County when an officer is involved in a fatal shooting.

The 40-minute presentation will provide statistical data and other information and allow members of the community to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of process and procedures.

The session will take place in West Orange Town Hall’s Council Chambers, 66 Main St. in West Orange
