BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The township of Bloomfield began enforcing parking regulations again on Monday, March 22. Enforcement will be phased in with warnings and education during the first week. Parking enforcement had been suspended as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Due to COVID-19, our administration loosened parking rules in order to make life easier for residents during such a difficult period,” Mayor Michael Venezia said. “As the state slowly begins to reopen, we will begin enforcing parking regulations again so that residents and visitors can park easily and safely when they visit our small businesses.”
Enforcement will include street and surface lot parking. Information regarding parking rules can be found at http://bloomfieldparking.org/parking-permitregulations/.
