Learn Euro egg decorating

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Van Tassel Funeral Home will be hosting a European Easter egg decoration class on March 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. There are many ways of healing and the purpose of this class is to provide participants with a new healing opportunity. This Palm Sunday event will present the European painting technique as taught by Aneta Pierog–Sudol.

Pierog–Sudol was born in Poland. She spent most of her life in Jablonka, the capital of the Orava region. She has been living in the United States since 2002. Pierog–Sudol studied at the Art Institute of the Pedagogical University, in Cracow, where she majored in photography and painting. She graduated in 1999 with a Master`s degree in art education. Her work focuses on land structures, architecture patterns, landscapes, and rhythm in nature.

Pierog–Sudol participated in numerous group photo exhibitions in Poland and in United States, as well as five individual photo exhibitions.
