Learn about legal support services for veterans

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A Veterans Access Seminar will be held Wednesday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Montclair Municipal Building, 215 Claremont Ave. This event is sponsored by the Superior Court of NJ Essex Vicinage Advisory Committee on Minority Concerns. This seminar on court access and legal support services for those who have served in the military will include topics such as Veterans Court, legal wellness, Surrogate Court, child support, housing, expungements, driver’s license restoration, criminal justice reform in New Jersey and mental health. Speakers will include representatives from NJ Superior Court, Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, the Public Defender’s Office, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Essex County surrogate.
