Glen Ridge Women’s Club plans Favorite Doll Tea for March 13

GLEN RIDGE, NJ — The Glen Ridge Women’s Club will present the eighth annual Favorite Doll Tea on Sunday, March 13.
The afternoon begins with the arrival of the children accompanied by their parents, grandparents and, of course, their dolls — all dressed up for a fashionable, traditional high tea. Often the children and their dolls are dressed in coordinated outfits. Awaiting them at their table is an array of finger sandwiches, steaming teapots and refreshing lemonade.

During the afternoon, dolls can visit the beauty salon run by the Girls’ Club for a new doll hairstyle and a bit of pampering. There are raffle prizes to win and vendors offering doll clothes, jewelry and small toys. The event is capped with an array of delicate desserts served on three-tier trays. And finally, every child leaves with a prize to remember their afternoon.
