GLEN RIDGE, NJ — Friday night recreation will be held by Glen Ridge Parks and Recreation. The program will be at Ridgewood Avenue School upper gym, with drop-off in the parking lot behind the school. The night features 90 minutes of gym games for kids, supervised by a qualified staff.
All registrations for the free program must be made online, by visiting www.grmac.org, clicking on “Youth Recreation Programs” and then clicking on the “Friday Night Rec” box on the left. Registrations will be accepted beginning at 9 a.m. on the Monday before each session.
Friday night recreation will be held Dec. 4, 11, 18, Jan. 8, 15, 22, 29, Feb. 5 and 12, at the following times:
• Grades three and four, 5:30 to 7 p.m.
• Grades five and six, 7:30 to 9 p.m.
On Jan. 15, only grades three and four will meet due to the fifth-grade dance. On Jan. 22, only grades three and four will meet due to the sixth-grade dance.
Due to space restraints and in order to provide a safe environment, this program is limited to 40 students per session on a first-come, first-served basis. Unregistered children will not be admitted.
